Jules (Hunter Schafer) will also appear in the episode, along with Colman Domingo, who appeared in season one.
HBO's Euphoria brought us not just your typical teen drama when it premiered in 2019. This show, thanks to the subject matter and its star Zendaya, has an opportunity to do this that doesn't quite exist anywhere else.
Altogether, there will be two special episodes released for the series while the 2nd season does not start to be produced.
We'll be back with more coverage of Euphoria as we get closer to the bonus episode airing - but rest assured that we're very-much intrigued to see how Rue processes her heartbreak and starts to move forward. They pick up right where the first season left off so spoilers ahead.
The end of season 1 left Rue succumbing to her addiction once again after Jules leaves her at the train station.
Two special episodes of HBO's hit drama series "Euphoria" is set to premiere early on HBO Max.
Here in the UK, Sky Atlantic and the Now TV streaming service will be airing the new episodes.
The first instalment of the two-part special arrived on HBO Max on Thursday, December 3rd while the main HBO channel will be airing Trouble Don't Last Always on Sunday, December 6th.
The special episodes, however, were filmed following strict security protocols, in addition to having a much smaller cast than usual.
The release date for part 2 has not been announced at the time of writing.
"Two special Euphoria episodes coming soon", Zendaya captioned, referring to a close-up picture of co-star Hunter Schafer's eye staring at Zendaya's character, Rue.
For UK fans not wanting such a late night, the episode will be repeated on Monday, December 7th at 9pm.
