Covid 19 coronavirus: Larry King hospitalised in Los Angeles

The beloved newsman has been under doctors' care in Los Angeles for 10 days and has not been allowed any visitors, according to Roger Friedman's Showbiz411.

In 2017, King revealed he had been diagnosed with lung cancer and underwent surgery to treat it.

Further details about his condition have not yet been released.

Daily Mail reports that King, 87, previously survived a heart attack and a stroke. CNN reports King, who has Type 2 diabetes, has been hospitalized for more than a week.

In 2020, King lost two children, Andy (65) of a heart attack and Chaia (51) to lung cancer.

King is being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to ABC News.

He continued, "Losing them feels so out of order". My family and I thank you for your outpouring kind sentiments and well wishes. In this moment, we need a little time and privacy to heal.

He was then the host of Larry King Live on CNN, between 1985 and 2010, holding interviews with a host of guests, including politicians, athletes, entertainment figures, and conspiracy theorists.

Earlier this year, two of Larry's adult children passed away within just one month of each other.

King has overcome health problems over the year.
