Max has dropped the very first trailer for Doug Liman's new ensemble heist romantic comedy-thriller "Locked Down". He has given us Swingers, The Bourne Identity, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Jumper (It's my guilty pleasure movie, f*ck you!), Edge of Tomorrow (This is one of the best sci-fi movies of all time), American Made, and more. The heist element seems fun though, particularly with the real locations featured in the movie.
Like "Songbird" before it, "Locked Down" with Anne Hathaway and Chiwetel Ejiofor is another movie shot during the COVID-19 pandemic that tries to capture the moment of living in quarantine on film.
Oscar victor Anne Hathaway and nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor play the unhappy pair, stuck together because of London's lock down.
She continued: "Like the odds were so against us anyway that it made me want to lean into the exhilaration and take risks with my performance". Anne Hathaway stated that the chaotic lockdown situation would see her character releasing all the tension and BS she has been going through in day-to-day life, followed by her being honest about them.
She said Linda "is messy and a little nuts and I liked that".
Here's everything else you need to know about Locked Down. A release date for Ireland has yet to be confirmed. However, with the decree of social isolation, they are obliged to remain together at home.
The movie also features a very impressive supporting cast, including Ben Stiller, Stephen Merchant, Mark Gatiss, Mindy Kaling, Ben Kingsley, and Lucy Boynton.
The official trailer for "Locked Down" has gone live. Co-habitation is proving to be a challenge, but fueled by poetry and copious amounts of wine, it will carry them closer jointly in a stunning way.
