McTominay Header Puts Manchester United Into FA Cup Fourth Round

Manchester City owner, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, has bought a historic FA Cup trophy for £760,000 after it was placed on auction previous year.

Following the match, McTominay gave his feelings on what it felt like to lead out the club he has been with for more than 18 years. I told them I didn't expect them to start like house on fire.

Solskjaer was expected to make a few changes to his starting XI on Saturday but the trio of Pogba, Luke Shaw and Lindelof were all missing from the matchday squad.

The club said the victory helped to establish football into Manchester's wider cultural life, with the city better known at the time for its rugby.

"The manager has been nothing but awesome for me since he came to the club".

"This was not something we foresaw, I like him a lot".

"As long as I have got the manager's trust I am happy and will keep doing my job every day in training and matches as well".

"We feared we may never see it again and that Britain would be losing the FA Cup for good", said Tim Desmond, chief executive of the National Football Museum, adding that loaning it back preserves "our sporting heritage in this country".

"We started really well and then for the first half an hour we were really good, moved the ball really well and there was some good combination play", McTominay told BT Sport before talking about his pride in captaining the team.

"For the boys who came into the team it is hard as they have not played for a long time and it is about finding your rhythm". But we just did not find it after that.
