Gaga's performance was the first of several scheduled performances during the inauguration, with Jennifer Lopez and Garth Brooks expected to follow with performances later in the ceremony.

The internet was quick to react to this as they compared it to the outfits from 'The Hunger Games.' Even the official account joined in on the fun. Not just with her performance, the global sensation stunned the audience with her flamboyant outfit too.

Lady Gaga belted out her own version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the inauguration of President Joe Biden on Wednesday wearing a dress Billboard characterized as a "Hunger Games" outfit.

Ahead of the inauguration, Lady Gaga posted a hopeful message to her Instagram account.

While performing a mashup of "This Land Is Your Land" and "America the Beautiful", JLo made a decision to sneak in a snippet of her 1999 hit, "Let's Get Loud" from her debut studio album, On the 6.

"A dove carrying an olive branch". Among others making powerful fashion statements were First Lady Jill Biden, former First Ladies Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush and last but certainly not the least, Madam Vice President, Kamala Harris. "May we all make peace with each other". He was also "lucky enough to be asked" to perform at Donald Trump's 2016 inauguration ceremony, but was unable to appear due to a prior commitment in Cincinnati. As an American living in Paris, this ensemble is a love letter to a country that I miss terribly and to a singer whose artistry I have long admired., told the New York Times the artistic director of Schiaparelli, Daniel Roseberry.

While stars mostly eschewed Trump's inauguration four years ago, the A-list was back for Biden.

In a stunning moment of unity, Garth Brooks took centerstage to sing a handsome rendition of "Amazing Grace" at Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20.

Wednesday's TV special, called "Celebrating America", will feature appearances from stars including Bruce Springsteen, Katy Perry, Tim McGraw, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Justin Timberlake, Demi Lovato, and John Legend. "I will provide for you, and I'll stand by your side", he sang.
