Former President Donald Trump has formally established an official post-presidency "Office of the Former President" in Palm Beach County, Florida.
"President Trump will always and forever be a champion for the American People".
Trump is also expected to spend most of his post-presidency days in Florida, where his aides will surround him, a report from The Hill said.
For example, it has been speculated that Trump will bid again for president in 2024.
Prohibited from most social media networks following his supporters' deadly attack on the US Capitol on 6 January inspired by his dangerously false election fraud claims, the former president has largely been silent after the inauguration of Joe Biden on 20 January.
One simply read "Trump worst president ever" while another appeared to rea "Trump you pathetic loser go back to Moscow" according to CBS 12 news reporter Paxton Boyd.
The former president's campaign manager, Brad Pascal, created a new email distribution system through one of his private companies for Trump's comments because the email infrastructure for the 2020 campaign was suspended by the provider that was using, Campaign Monitor, according to two people familiar with the matter.
Even prior to the insurrection, some of Mr Trump's Palm Beach neighbours opposed the former president moving there permanently, and filed legal action in an attempt to stop him from doing so.
Trump's latest impeachment trial marks only the fourth impeachment trial of a president in USA history.
A third could be risky that could divide the votes between the Republican Party and the Patriot Party, allowing the Democrats to win. As of this writing, CNN reports that Trump's impeachment case has now been handed over to the Senate. The first time he was acquitted by the Senate in February of previous year (with only 1 Republican voting in favor of one article of impeachment).
Just like the first impeachment trial for Donald Trump, Chief Justice John Roberts will not preside.
