In February 2020, Halsey opened up to The Guardian around her miscarriage.
Halsey has previously gotten candid about experiencing a miscarriage while on tour in 2015. ". She tagged film producer and screenwriter Alev Aydin in the photo who is the father of her baby". This is obviously the right, responsible choice for everyone's safety - but could the cancelation also have something to do with the shocking news the star just announced via her Instagram?
On Wednesday (January 27), the singer announced on Instagram, with a series of gorgeous maternity photos, that she is expecting her first child-and we couldn't be happier for her. He left a sweet note in the comments of Halsey's original post - "Heart so full, I love you sweetness" - to which the singer replied, "I love you! And I love this mini human already", before disabling comments on the post.
It's a relatively new relationship as this time previous year Halsey was still dating "American Horror Story" star Evan Peters.
The tour managed to get through 17 dates in Europe - including the United Kingdom - before it was halted in March a year ago.
She has suffered from Endometriosis and has talked about freezing her eggs, so becoming a mother and having a family now is very special to her, according to People magazine. "And before I could really figure out what that meant to me and what that meant for my future. the next thing I knew I was on stage miscarrying in the middle of my concert". I hope the world gets more sensitive to that. "Surprise", she wrote on Instagram, adding a baby, bottle, and rainbow emojis. "Then one day my OB-GYN tells me it's looking like I maybe can".
