508 cases, 6 deaths in final update of the week

Within Interior Health, there are 705 active cases, up by 13 from Thursday. There have been 101 new cases in February.
There were eight new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths in Warren County in Friday's report from the Pennsylvania Department of Health. "I really would like to thank all British Columbians at this time in the pandemic for having persevered".
Another 7,699 people are under active monitoring from public health following possible exposure to the disease.
Currently, 217 individuals are hospitalized with COVID-19, 61 of whom are in intensive care.
Seventy-two COVID-19 variants have now been confirmed in B.C. - 50 of which are the United Kingdom variants, 20 the South African variant.
"We are seeing a decline in outbreaks as well as we are seeing there is substantial protection for the frail and elderly from vaccinations".
Provincially, 192,942 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered as of Friday, including 36,923 second doses.
Erie County, which has nearly seven times as many people as Warren County, has had 8,668 full vaccinations and 15,698 more partial vaccinations.
Dr. Réka Gustafson spoke at Friday's news conference in Vancouver as Dr. Bonnie Henry took a rare day off, and told reporters 69,970 people have "fully recovered" from the novel coronavirus. The department reported a total of 1,279 deaths in its jurisdiction, up nine from Thursday. Selangor recorded the most with 1,001 cases, followed by Kelantan with 257 cases, Johor with 233 cases and Kuala Lumpur with 230 cases.
A total of 91 active clusters have recorded new cases.
Fifty-four percent of the cases involve women.
At Big White Mountain, there is one new case in this community cluster since the last update on February 12.
Loblaw had three stores with staff members who tested positive.
"This is very good news, because with every individual that is protected by vaccination, we are all safer", Gustafson said.
