Kanye West "is anxious and very sad" as he's been having a hard time amid a growing sense that his marriage to Kim Kardashian is coming to an end.

Kim is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the couple's 4 kids.

'Kanye is not doing well, ' an insider told People Wednesday of the 43-year-old star. Sources added the rapper is fine with the joint custody arrangement.

The couple tied the knot back in 2014.

Both Kim and Kanye were reportedly separated after his presidential campaign when ended as abruptly as it began.

The news come after months of rumours that the two were splitting up and living seperate lives.

Things turned from bad to worse between Kanye and Kim after West spoke about a conversation he had with Kim about aborting their first child.

The Grammy-winner 'also knows what he is losing in Kim, ' the source told the outlet of the celebrity split, as divorce papers have yet to be filed.

Kardashian West, who grew up in California, had a string of high-profile romances and in 2011 she married former basketball player Kris Humphries in a reality TV wedding.

Kim and Kanye married in Italy in May 2014 after they had already welcomed their eldest daughter North.

Kanye is Kim's third husband. However, the couple divorced just 72 days later.

The next day, he went on a Twitter tirade claiming that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was trying to "lock [him] up".

The mother-of-four showcased her slim physique following the results of a plant-based diet.

Kim Kardashian wants joint custody of her and Kanye West's kids, according to divorce documents filed by the Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) star on Friday (Feb. 19).

She finished the post with a face-palm emoji.
