If it becomes a major hassle for developers to port games over to the Switch, then we're not going to see very many games towards the middle and end of its lifecycle, unless it sells like insane.
Moreover, the company has clearly made a decision to move away from the Wii branding, a primary reason undoubtedly being the abysmal sales of the Wii U, and a lot of confusion when the Wii U launched over whether this was a new console or simply an add-on to the original Wii.
It generally means that some investors are still doubting whether the Nintendo Switch would appeal to a wide audience. Some people think it's just another gimmick, others feel as if Nintendo didn't innovate enough, others say that Nintendo should have invested more in competing with the PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio, making a traditional console with just beefier specs.
The console offers flexibility and ease of use as it has two "Joy-Con" controllers attached on the tablet's both ends. Given that the screen looks to be in the seven inch range, and that the controllers are incredibly small, we're betting this won't be a much-used feature.
The Japanese console-maker has already confirmed the Switch won't play Wii U game discs or 3DS cartridges, so the absence of second-screen gaming shouldn't be a surprise. The description adds that the mobility of a handheld is now added to the power of a home gaming system to enable unprecedented new video gameplay styles. One patent suggests that there will be a camera on the back of the tablet for the Switch, but none of the official images sent over by Nintendo include a camera anywhere on the device. However, Microsoft and Sony are dominating the home console market in recent years letting Nintendo fight against smartphones for the casual portable gaming market.

"We've optimized the full suite of hardware and software for gaming and mobile use cases". The dock doesn't contribute to the system's overall performance.
Nintendo has always been a cheaper alternative to the PS4 and Xbox consoles, and a new Nintendo system is not expected to cost more than Dollars 300-350.
The Nintendo Switch is expected for release on March 2017. The price, however, is is not yet revealed. Only the basic information about the console is mentioned in the listing, which states a release date of "TBC".
A recent leak suggests that they will be released on March 4, something that could also point to the Nintendo Switch release date. The page was taken down quickly after.
Bottom: middle: Nintendo envisions a future where you'll bring your Nintendo Switch with you, set it down on a table, and play multiplayer with friends. "This could be NX's single biggest win". This possibly hints at what the Switch is capable of when it comes to graphics performance.
