The game developers have just released a new cinematic trailer for the sequel just in time for the November 7 (N7) Day event for "Mass Effect". Following this, the developers of the game are pressured to make "Mass Effect: Andromeda " better than its predecessors. Either way, Garrus and Tali are the most memorable because I beat their loyalty missions, and we have Mass Effect 2 to thank for that.
These actors will definitely have some big shoes to fill, as Mass effect series is known for its memorable characters and top-notch voice acting. You can, however, be awarded a special edition Pathfinder Grade helmet for completing the "training modules", six additional trailers that will release exclusively on the game's website in the run up to launch. The game's cover art shows a destroyed ark, and BioWare has said our arrival into Andromeda does not go smoothly.
It makes for a fascinating new chapter in the franchise, but it also feels a little bit like a cop out. Despite the fact that game is focused an entirely new ensemble of protagonists, Creative Director stated that the game will not kick-off a new trilogy but will resolve on its own, IGN reported.
As far as we know, Mass Effect Andromeda will allow gamers to play as either Scott or Sarah Ryder - Alec's two children.
Much of that comes down to the all-new setting, of course, but as more details begin to pour onto the interwebs, we've learned that Mass Effect: Andromeda takes place around the year 2785, a full 600 years after the events that transpired in ME3. The very first shot we see in this trailer shows us an huge spaceship floating through space, inter-cut with scenes of a possible attack on the ship, or at least a disaster that strikes the crew. Ryder is a Pathfinder, who's tasked with leading humanity's search for a new home in the uncharted and unforgiving region of an entirely new galaxy as part of the Andromeda Initiative (hence the game's name).
You'll also be able to visit the Nexus, the equivalent of the Citadel, which made the journey to Andromeda first before the four arks for each major race (humans have one, we're guessing the other three are asari, salarian and turian).
Mass Effect 3's multiplayer returns with the team focusing on improving, evolving and fleshing it out.
Multiplayer again ties into the main campaign, although not in a way that affects Andromeda's ending.
