Mary-Kate started dating Olivier, who is the half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, back in 2012 - and they tied the knot three years later.
They got engaged in early 2014, and were quietly married in November 2015 in Manhattan.
The news has been circulating but the two have yet to announce it officially.
Mary-Kate initially filed for divorce on April 17, stating that her marriage had irretrievably broken down. Mary Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy have already filed for a petition to speed up their divorce amidst the global pandemic and Olsen is requesting for their prenuptial agreement to be enforced.
The actress, who rose to fame as a child star alongside twin sister Ashley Olsen, is seeking an emergency order to process a divorce from Sarkozy, due to the closure of non-essential services amid the COVID-19 outbreak, TMZ claims.
"My husband has terminated the lease on our New York City residence. without my consent", she wrote.
Olsen, 33, filed the case Wednesday claiming that her 50-year-old banker hubby was trying to kick her out of their apartment by next Monday, forcing her to try to look for a new home during the coronavirus crisis.
To combat Olivier's layers, MK filed for an emergency divorce, which would prohibit him from disposing of her belongings until the divorce is finalized.
"Unless an emergency develops in a marriage that requires immediate court action to protect a spouse or child, new divorce cases can not be filed in NY". Fans have mixed emotions about the divorce and are reflecting on Olsen and Sarkozy's relationship. "She has the ability to rent a different apartment and her items be can be stored".
