In her 21-page complaint obtained by the Daily News, the widow of the National Basketball Association superstar says she is physically "ill" over the thought of strangers "gawking" at images showing the bodies of her beloved husband and 13-year-old daughter Gianna.
Late NBA star Kobe Bryant's widow, Vanessa Bryant, has been accused of kicking her mother out of her house following the death of her husband earlier this year. "She also told me that she wanted her vehicle and she wants it now". But something must have changed - cause Vanessa allegedly has her mom homeless now.
Vanessa's mom also said during the promo that after Kobe died Vanessa kicked her out and repoed her auto, she told her "you need to leave my house and give me my vehicle".
"My husband and daughter passed away unexpectedly, and yet my mother had the audacity to do an interview in which she spoke negatively of me, while shedding some tears for a auto and a house that were not in her name", she said, hurt. "My husband and I have supported her financially for the past 20 years, and continue to do so, in addition to her monthly alimony", she added.
After the interview aired, Bryant put out a statement strongly criticizing her mother and pushing back on the accusations that had been leveled against her. "I hope that everything that is coming out of our personal relationship ends here", he said. "Mrs. Bryant feels ill at the thought of strangers gawking at images of her deceased husband and child, and she lives in fear that she or her children will one day confront horrific images of their loved ones online".
Kobe Bryant, 13-year-old Gianna Bryant and seven others were killed January 26 when the helicopter they were riding in crashed in Calabasas, California, en route to a youth basketball tournament. The time was no doubt a challenging one for Vanessa, who is raising her other daughters - Natalia, Bianka, and Capri - without her life partner.
