Progression now ties in with the broader battle pass just like multiplayer and Warzone, you can bring in loadouts, and there's going to be no more paid DLC.

Black Ops Cold War is one of the entries in Call of Duty series. Because the only way anyone could have possibly made the Cold War more fun was with zombies.
Treyarch has officially lifted the lid on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's Zombies mode, showcasing a trailer and revealing the first details about what we can expect in November. It has its own Zombies Mode which is expected to be revealed on September 30 at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET.
Weapon Rarity "In addition to the return of the Pack-a-Punch machine to transform your weapon, all weapons will now have a rarity associated with them". Instead of starting with a pistol, Requiem players "can also start the match with their Gunsmith-crafted weapon of choice via loadout support". This will be the first time that the co-op mode of this particular game mode will be available via cross-play. There is also some rarity to these weapons, so the higher the rarity, the greater the damage it will ensue against a raging zombie.
In the words of Treyarch themselves "It wouldn't be a Black Ops game without Zombies", and players got to see what's coming on that front today for the first time.
Field Upgrades "Outside of weaponry, players can deploy Field Upgrades as proactive abilities that add another layer to squad-based tactics". If the whole squad is in trouble, you can opt to exfiltrate the undead combat zone via helicopter.
Cross-progression: there's unified weapon progression across all Black Ops Cold War, meaning, "wherever you play across multiplayer zombies, your global rank and weapons level stays connected".
Activision tweeted the announcement along with the official key art for the mode. A beta version will be arriving in October to PS4 also.
